Backwoods Tulsas next hike is Sunday May 11th which is Mothers Day. We will hike the Sand Plum Trail at Walnut Creek State Park on Lake Keystone near the town of Prue. Plan on hiking a 3 to 5 mile portion of the trail. This scenic trail has some moderate hills but is mostly on flat to rolling terrain, and affords many vistas of the lake. Bring sun protection , bug protection, rain protection if needed, snacks and water. To repeat May 11th is Mothers Day. My calendar did not list that day as Mothers Day and it worked with my schedule. I realized that very recently and long after it had been scheduled. I apologize to you that might want to go but cant. Of course others may be able to attend and not have plans for the day. I hope you can be with us on the hike if possible. Dogs on leash are allowed. Glen Brewington of Backwoods is the organizer if the hike. Meet at Backwoods at 12:30pm. We can carpool and/or caravan to the destination.
