Bailey is a 2 year old in for boot camp for severe dog reactivity and aggression. Her reactivity is a symptom of a lack of social skills and anxiety. Here is a clip of us using the mini educator remote collar in the beginning stages of our work with this tool. At this point in the process I am simply using a loose leash and communicating with the remote. I will apply pressure on the remote to engage her to pay attention to me. Bailey is working on a level 9/100 during this session. It is important to note that this collar is not hurting her as you can see in the video you cannot even tell when I am using it. We are working in a fairly high distraction environment in a spacious area under 95 with dogs passing on the sidewalks (her biggest trigger) and lots of pigeons and of course the obvious traffic. This is a pretty challenging scenario but Bailey is doing GREAT. We will translate these skills into helping her with her reactivity but it is important to take things at a pace that will not be overwhelming or traumatizing for Bailey. youtu.be/rjPc0weTRYM
