Ballot Papers jet in Saturday, Mec promises tight security The May 20th Tripartite Elections ballot papers will arrive in the country on Saturday (tomorrow) May 10th and Sunday May 11th, 2014, Malawi Electoral Commission has confirmed. The 200 tons of 24 million ballots, which include tactile ballot paper templates, will arrive in the country through Kamuzu International Airport in two chartered planes from South Africa. The printing of the ballots has been undertaken with support from UNDP and funding by Malawi’s Development Partners through the Basket Fund to support Malawi’s elections.
