Ballymena United ran riot at Stanley Park in Lisburn as they demolished Lisburn Rangers 8-1. Davy Munster open the scoring after just 2 minutes! Gary Liggett added another goal 2 minutes later. A couple of minutes later, Lisburn Rangers pulled one back through Stuart Adams. After half-time Ballymena confidently got into their stride as Johnny Taylor scored on 60 minutes. Davy Munster got his second goal 6 minutes later. Alan Davidson scored 3 goals in quick succession inside just 4 minutes! Allan Jenkins wrapped up the scoring fifteen minutes from time to give the Sky Blues a confidence boosting performance.
