Bam - Day 42 and because I had hui these last two mornings, I had a bossless weekend. Maringirangi Pohatu and her tamariki Tewhatewha, baby Antonio and mokopuna Kerstah travelled across from Tauranga this morning to meet me and have our morning hikoi. I also met up with a tino hoa of Maringirangi named Taati, who also joined us for his very first hikoi and Wiremu. I asked them to meet me at Papaiouru Marae, and off we went on a nice relaxing hikoi around our beautiful village at Ohinemutu. Although it was a short walk, I thoroughly enjoyed it (never thought Id ever say that .... seriously lol). Maringirangi, it was a pleasure meeting up with you again and what an awesome mate you are for encouraging Taati to join us and if I can help Taati in any way, please let me know. Took some selfies with Tamatekapua and Tunohopu. Got these selfies down now - TOOT TOOT!!!
