Ban Ki-moon at a ceremony in New York for UN Peacekeepers Day, at which he commended the bravery and dedication of UN Peacekeepers around the world, and honoured those who have given their lives in the cause of peace. The Secretary-General said that 2013 was the sixth year in a row that more than 100 peacekeepers died.
