Band Chain Thing: Given to me by Colin Hall Band I was Given : Graham Parker & the Rumour Do I like them: Yes, very much so. I first became acquainted with them via a guy who I worked with in the record shop, Dave Smith, I hadnt been there very long, Id have been about 17 Dave was several years older and came from a different generation but he had good taste, real good taste in music and turned me onto a lot of things very quickly. Graham Parker & the Rumour being one of many, Heat Treatment was the first album of GPs that I fell for which is oddly enough the one he himself least likes and publicly trashes (even in the sleeve notes to the recent re-issue) A lot of people who have been to see our band live who are from that generation often liken our thing to the Rumour, I take it as a great compliment. Have I ever seen them: yes, just the other week as it so happens, still kicking up a storm after 30 plus years!! Favourite Song: Howlin Wind, Between me & you, Watch the moon come down, white honey, stick to me....I could go on....and on....and on... Like this and Ill give you a band, so you can post the same questions and your answers on your own timeline. It doesnt matter if you like them or not, but if you dont, try to find some redeeming feature
