Bangalore: A couple has been arrested for allegedly brutally assaulting their 13-year-old domestic help who has suffered severe head injuries and multiple abrasions all over her body because of the regular beating.The girl is on life support and police reported that her condition is critical.Residents of an upscale locality, the couple has been taken into custody.The girl was brought to Bangalore from Darjeeling. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the girl was regularly beaten up for not working fast enough.Police said that the couple has committed a crime under child labour prevention act as the child is below 14 years of age.
