Bank Holiday incidents continued no 3: Report received of a female mountain biker who had fallen into a ravine and was unconscious in the water in Ballyhoura Mountains. R115 tasked and lowered winchman into the ravine. casualty and advanced paramedic winched onboard R115 and transits to Limerick Hospital. R115 instructed to hot refuel for a small boat going on the rocks near Kilkee. Kilkee Coast Guard rescue boat also tasked. Kilkee CG take boat in tow and R115 stood down. Both Units were then stood back up for a female swimmer in difficulty. Swimmer recovered in the Coast Guard rescue boat and taken ashore. No medical attention required. Aranmore lifeboat brought a doctor to the Island and the patient and Doctor back off the Island from Burtonport. Tow Ins: Derrynane CRBI Rescue boat - broken down punt. also assisted by passing fishing boats
