Bara tribesmen hail decision of election tribunal Posted on 13 hours ago Jehanzeb Afridi BARA: Khyber Union of Khyber Agency have termed the announcement of reelection decision in Bara Khyber Agency in NA-46 as historical by election tribunal, following the declaration of MNA, Nasir Khan’s null and void an said the election commission of Pakistan should instantly announce reelection in Bara. These viewpoints were expressed in a meeting held at Peshawar by office bearers of Khyber Union on Sunday. Khyber Union, president presided over the meeting and attended by Murad Saqi Afridi, Haji Mujibur Rehman, chairman Qaumi Council, Haji Wajid Ali Afridi, a senior member of Khyber Union, Gulman Shah, Haji Gul Ahmad and Haji Waris Khan. President of KU on the occasion said the election tribunal in history of FATA elections gave a historical decision after it declared incumbent MNA, Nasir Khan Afridi null and void. He said the reelection in Bara would help giving chance to tribesmen to elect their deserving candidate. He stated that such decision could end the deprivation of tribal people and it is the success of democratic system in the country. The tribesmen consider the decision as a great achievement in history and the election commission should promptly announce reelection in Bara NA-46, he added. The people of Bara would eagerly participate in reelection if were held and they would get a chance to elect their deserving and competent representative to solve their issues, he stated.
