Barack Obama was in full campaign mode yesterday apparently jealous that Ted Cruz showed all of America that a liberty loving conservative could talk articulately for 21 hours without the aid of a teleprompter! It is also amazing that Obama after four years of discussion on his signature Obamacare package to redo the Cadillac American health care system, still needs to be out defending it! True to his campaign style he had to blame and label the still enormous numbers 53% of Americans who oppose Obamacare, Tea-Partiers! You would think people who love our Constitution and want our government to use sound economic policies and live within its income would be idolized not demonized by a president! Obama continues to blatantly quote his skewed statistics that health care plan costs will not increase and you can keep your plan even as we are learning just the opposite from millions becoming part-time workers and losing their healthcare completely! Then Obama had to show he is a brilliant Constitutional lawyer and raised the point that Obamacare has been declared constitutional by the Supreme Court. Mark Levin on his program yesterday was quick to remind Obama, the legal scholar, that slavery and segregation were also ruled constitutional for many years but our highest court but were proven wrong on both counts. We truly are living in amazing times and America has never seen a tyrannical White House as we now have. If I were not a believer in the soon return of Jesus Christ to once and for all solve the problem of human rule on earth rooted in lust and pride, I would be without hope and miserable. I don’t know how the healthcare debacle is going to end, but regardless, my first line of defense for my health is to trust in The Lord My Healer! I pray that like Job amid his suffering I could say “though God slay me yet I’ll trust him. (Job 13:15) Also, thanks to the Bible, I know how this all ends and for all who love Jesus we have only to keep trusting God’s Word and stay anchored in The Rock of Ages. Evil and evil doer will keep doing worst things than ever imagined as the Holy Spirit lowers its all powerful resistance to allow earth’s preparation for the divine end-time judgment. Many believers will pay the ultimate price for God has warned there will be a period as Revelation 13:7 describes that the evil one will be allowed “to make war with the saints and to overcome them.” This is actually happening right now in Muslim lands plus in India and Africa so the American church should not be surprised if our comfort zone does not soon also feels the heat of persecution. Obama is certainly helping the matter along as Christian are now labeled ‘sovereign citizen’ and a threat to the government’s agenda. At the same time God is still building His church and there will be daily grace for daily needs for those who trust in the Lord will find Him a supplier of all our needs, a strong tower and a help in time of trouble. Revelation 22:12, 13, 17 and 20 summarize the blessed ending to this span of human existence we call history but which the children of God know really has been HIS-STORY: “12. Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds. 13. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. 17. The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life. 20. Surely I am coming quickly.” God will balance the books and that is why we can have real hope now and forever!
