Barb wrote--Just got my surgery scheduled for Feb 6. LAKA. Its weird that Im looking forward to it. The bad news is I have an infection surrounding my failed TKR hardware. The surgeon said it could be 3-4 months before they let the incision heal. NOT what I wanted to hear but like everything else, Ill deal with it. I have a question, though. It will be awhile before Ill be getting a leg, of course. But Ive seen some people writing about not being able to get new legs because of insurance, and some people writing about getting new ones more often. Or getting different legs for different purposes. How does that all work?
