Barcelona and Baywood TO HEADLINE Higher Ground Music Festival AUGUST 23- #gettohigherground Higher Ground Music Festival returns to downtown Denver on Saturday, August 23. Featuring Barcelona and Baywood in addition to other top national and local talent, the festival looks to make its 3rd installment the biggest and best to date. Taking place in Denver’s RiNo Arts District near 26th St. between Walnut and Larimer, the festival will feature 40 bands on five stages with multiple attractions including vendor booths and food & beverage stations. BARCELONA, hailing from Seattle, will be the festival’s main headliner, fresh off the Helios Tour with The Fray. The band’s piano-driven rock serves as a testament to the massive indie rock trend sweeping the country, with the band’s prior Denver appearance taking place at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. BAYWOOD, from Los Angeles, will provide the perfect complement to BARCELONA. Their folk-indie style has gained the duo national recognition following the release of their debut full length album Everything We Know, All at Once. The festival also features many of Denver’s top local acts including Aspen Hourglass, King Rat, Sarah & The Meanies, and Filthy T.
