Bareback Challenge accepted! Thursday I managed to sneak a few hours to go play with the horses, and got the chance to ride Miss Mary bareback for the first time. She was cool as a cucumber and nicely round, so no pain factor, and it was also her first time on the Figure 8 pattern ridden. We had a good time and due to her free-moving stride she was able to show me exactly where I was holding tension in my body. Funnily enough, knees and jaw were very tight, and I had a hard time letting go! Does anyone else find this? What has your bareback riding revealed to you?
