Bargame Hunting Part 5 - The Doppleganger Had a great day today with the family at a car boot sale, while Player 3 got 2 little cars to play with I was on the hunt for bargames! Pickings were slim but I did see a Commodore 64 in the box and a loose Xbox... both were too expensive and I was getting disheartened until I saw this... its an old pirate Sonic 2 cart! This is quite unusual to see in the wild especially in the North East of England. The cover art is terrible and cart itself uses the Sonic 2 title screen as a cover, I havent checked if it works yet but at the price of one English pound Ill not argue... It looks like this game was well loved as the original owner has also taped the Super Sonic cheat to the back of the cart. I love seeing little things like this, it gives the game a story to tell...
