Baringo County Speaker William Kasait Kamket was last night forced to cut short his trip to Istanbul, Turkey after he was arrested by police in connection with the Baringo clashes. The Speaker was arrested at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as he prepared to fly out of the country for Turkey. Kamket is today expected to be interrogated by police in Kabarnet, Baringo County over alleged incitement. The county has been hit by a series of attacks in which five people including three GSU officers were killed in Kapedo over the weekend. The attack took place at the border betweenBaringo and Turkana counties. The arrest of Kamket brings to five, the number of people arrested in connection with the Kapedo killings.
