Baroque Concert to Benefit CAA and the Shelter Just a reminder, a free concert by the Consort of All Sorts takes place tomorrow (Sunday), October 12, at 3:00 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, located at 1545 Franklin St. in Astoria. The concert will include instrumental 18th century music played on baroque flute, recorder, oboe, bassoon, cello, and harpsichord, as well as baroque arias and traditional Celtic tunes for baritone voice and piano. Composers Georg Phillip Telemann, Johann Joachim Quantz, Jean Baptiste Loeillet, Jean Marie Leclair, and Handel are all covered. While the concert is free, donations are encouraged to help support Clatsop Animal Assistance and the Food Pantry operated by Grace Episcopal Church. Families with children are always welcome.
