Barring a miracle, my Cardinals wont win the World Series. Had a great year. Theyre still my team. Yall second guess all you want. Doesnt make any difference. On a different note, lets look at how were blessed. Can I share with you three for me? 1. I finally purchased a different vehicle. As you know, Ive been driving a 1993 Honda Accord (that I will have a little longer before selling and already have one interested at this point). A man in our church that owns B&B auto sales in Olive Branch, Bill Bolton, knew the kind of car I wanted and found it for me. I got a great deal on it (Check him out if youre looking for a great, reliable vehicle at a reasonable price). Its a 2010 Toyota Prius with 36,000. My son said the way I drive them, it may be my last. He was kidding, but knows I dont buy cars very often (drive them til they drop). Great mileage and just want I need for the driving I do as pastor. 2. My wife surprised me with an early Christmas present, a beautiful office chair she found at a consignment shop the other day. It really looks great in my office. I love it and her! 3. I am tremendously blessed to pastor the church that I do. I dont deserve such a church family, but greatly appreciate them. 4. All of my friends. All in all, none of us have really much to complain about. Let us look for things to be thankful for when we may find ourselves feeling down at times. God will pick you up!
