Barry here Woofer of the Week. Here are my forts for Friday. Todays I does want to talk about one of me favrite topics. Food. I loves food. Mummy does fink I have hollow legs and she says she wishes she had my met-ab-bol-lism whatever one of those is. Mummy decided not to keep me on the kibbles I had been on at the kennels but to get my some fink a bit more posherer (though she says she really understands whys they cant buy very posh food for all the houndies - theys get looked afters just sooper). Mummy said its important to get the food for your houndie that is the bests you can afford and it is best if the main ingredient is meat or fishes not cereal cos that it for chikens not houndies. Mummy shudders at some of the dog food adverts cos she says they are like giving a houndie McDonalds every day. I have me kibbles in a morning and again at night but I does have morning biscuits and a teefs stick every night to keep me snaggles sparkly. Sundie nights is me favrite night cos I does get sardines wiv me tea - this is such an occasion that we does now call Sundies Sardine Sundie. Last week we did have a Makrel Mundie but mummy said I is not to get used to dis. Pfft. Mummy has also learned lots of fings about foods that is not good for doggies such as onions and chocolate. I dont really likes dem fings anyway but last week mummy did make some chicken fighs. Well dem did smell sooper so when mummy was doing the washings up I did sneak behind her and grab one out of the bin and I did swallow it hole cos it looked like she did want to grab it off me. Mummys eyes did leakings as she said I was stoopid and it was a silly fing to have done. Mummy called the vet and did have to have a day off workings to watch I didnt get poorly and it was a day she was savings for the Christmas shopping so I was in the hound house. I was fine but mummy says she has learned to put chiken bones outside now. Mummy said lots of plants are a danger to houndies too and she bets a lot of people doest be realising that the point-setters that peoples have at Christmas are. I wouldnt eat one anyway but not all houndies is as clever as me. Till tomorrow me furrys friends.
