Baseball Hall of Famer Lou Brock was at the Rock Sports Complex - TopicsExpress

Baseball Hall of Famer Lou Brock was at the Rock Sports Complex this afternoon and I had a chance to take 3 of my grand children to meet him. He was scheduled to be there from 3:30 until 4:30 but we got there a little late because we had to wait for my grandson to get out of school. Mr. Brock was in his car getting ready to leave when he saw my grandchildren approaching, he stopped, got out of the car and waited for us. He was very very cordial, he spent about 15 minutes with us took some great pictures with the grand children and told them a few very good stories. He then shook hands with all 3 of the grandchildren and I could not help but notice the huge ring on his finger. He took the ring off and allowed each of the 3 grand children to put it on their fingers. What a true gentleman and a class act. I would also like toThank Wheaton-Franciscan Hospital for sponsoring Mr. Brocks trip to Milwaukee. This is very important because all that we have heard for the past week are the stories about Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson and their off the field antics, yet this gentleman was here in Milwaukee with virtually no media attention and he was doing the right thing even though no cameras were there to boost his ego. What a true gentalman.
