Based on meteorological reports, Tropical Depression Maring (internationally named TRAMI), its eye located east southeast of Itbayat, Batanes, is continuing enhancing the southwest monsoon, as it moves slightly northeastward, bringing light to moderate rains, with occasional heavy rains and gusty winds, all over the country which may persist till evening. This may cause flooding in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous regions. The other tropical disturbance (13W) located near Southeastern China-Okinawa, Japan, having a direct cyclone interaction with TD Maring, has dissipated.
