Basketball Fiji is reaching out to all artistic minded individuals to design a logo for the upcoming 2014 FIBA Oceania U19 tournament that Fiji will be hosting. The tournament is from the 1st to the 8th of December & this is your chance to win some cash and have your artwork displayed for Fiji as well as other countries of the Oceanic region to admire. The concept is to incorporate the FIBA Oceania logo & slogan of “We are basketball” with a unique Fijian feel. It should show off our cultural heritage as well as basketball in Fiji and the Pacific. Submissions are to be in high resolution jpeg format or pdf document version, with a brief explanation of what inspired your design and its significance to the concept. Entries close on the 12th of August 2014, and will need to be assessed and approved by Basketball Fiji before the successful artist is contacted and their artwork is used. Alternatively you could drop off your design at Basketball Fiji head office at Selbourne Street, opposite the Ministry of Education office.
