Orphans aren’t weak and needy. They’re strategic and important. In the last week I’ve found funding for the education of 13 of the 25 orphans at the Food Water Shelter site in Arusha, Tanzania. Would you consider helping me with the remaining 12? A single dollar covers the housing and education of an orphan for a day. $3,500 would cover 12 orphans for the entire year. Food Water Shelter is an amazing organization that houses orphans, widows, and vulnerable women. It also teaches scientific farming techniques to local farmers and provides rainwater harvesting systems in places like distant Massai villages where women walk 6 to 8 hours daily to find it.
