Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) workers have given a 72-hour notice - TopicsExpress

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) workers have given a 72-hour notice that they will strike again if a new labor agreement is not reached by midnight Sunday. The BART management wants to make changes in some of the workers benefits and salary. These BART employees should be thankful that at least they do have a job. The 400,000 daily commuters who take the BART trains (myself included) are only caught in the middle and are affected very much by the strike. For those who live in the San Francisco Bay Area, be prepared to take some alternate form of transit, and if you drive, be prepared for traffic gridlock all around the area, in case there is another BART strike. We can only hope that the two sides do come to an agreement before the deadline.
