Baynons Brake will be fully closed from Monday 10th March 2014, for a period of at least 3 weeks. The final stage of river protection work needs to be completed adjacent to the main float parking area, which will involve heavy machinery operation and dump trucks tipping rock, generating a lot of noise. There may also be open excavation sites and other hazards during the course of this work. Due to the nature of the works and potential hazards, we have made the call that it would be unsafe to allow horses and riders to enter the park during this time. The free BBQ is still going ahead from 11am - 1pm this Sunday, so this may be a great opportunity for people to come down and have a chat about the closures or any other concerns. Thanks, CT
