Bayside Seasonal Water Shut-Off Notice (from the Northport Village Corporation) The start of seasonal water shutoff is October 15. Bill Paige will be starting from one end of Bayside and working his way to the other end, with completion expected by November 1. Property owners requesting that their water be kept on do so at their own risk of freezing pipes, and such a request can be made at least two weeks ahead of October 15. If such a request is made, then their water will not be turned off until after November 1. Please understand that this is a “one-man show,” and, when October 15 arrives, Bill’s time will be booked until November 1, so he will be unable to honor special requests.
