Be Temperate in All Things: He who is slow to anger is better - TopicsExpress

Be Temperate in All Things: He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, he who rules his own spirit than he who takes a city. This is a good one for me today as I should and need to allow the Spirit to speak through me. And thats all I got to say about that! And those skeptical and waiting to hear negative, NOT! Jamie and I are fine! Praise God! We cannot expect someone else to make us do what is right. We must listen to the Holy Spirit and take ACTION ourselves. Paul said that he buffed his body. He disciplined himself because he did not want to preach to others, telling them how to live and not do it himself. Confirmation from Pastor Tim OCCarrolls preaching. You cannot develop your full potential without bringing your mind, body and emotions under control. Self-discipline is the most important character in the life of a Christian. Unless we discipline our minds, mouths and emotions, we will live in ruin. Unless we learn to rule our temper, we can never achieve the success that rightfully belongs to us. Do not be quick in spirit to be angry or vexed, for anger and vexation lodge in the bosom of fools. Ecclesiastes 7:9 God wishes and desires for us to develop our full potential. Angry people are too busy being angry ever to succeed at being the best they can be. We must resist negative emotions to live to our full potential. Do you have any of these feelings? If you do, freely give them to Him today and start transforming your mind to more positive feelings so you can be all God intends for YOU! ANGER-BITTERNESS-DESPAIR- DISCOURAGEMENT- ENVY -GREED- HATE IMPATIENCE JEALOUSY LAZINESS -LUST -OFFENSE -PRIDE- RESENTMENT -SADNESS -SELF-PITY AND UNFORGIVENESS. If YOU say you dont have any of these you need to work on, you are probably in denial and have pride! Amen Dear Heavenly Father, Touch us in a mighty way. Help us to work on our own negatives and not think on the negatives someone else has. Pierce our hearts with conviction, helping us live to our full potential and bless my fb friends and familys socks off today, in Jesus name, AMEN AND AMEN.
