Be a deputy of the UST Central Comelec! Applications open until August 7, 2014 (Thursday) APPLICATION PROCESS 1. Obtain application form from the UST Central COMELEC Office (Room 4F, Tan Yan Kee Student Center) or download from bit.ly/1pvwfU5 2. Prepare a Letter of Intent and three (3) copies resume containing ONLY the following information: a. Name b. Education c. Professional work experience (if applicable) d. Previous leadership positions held (high school and college) e. Record of community involvement activities 3. Prepare for a panel interview on AUGUST 7, 2014. a. Observe corporate attire b. Bring portfolio if applying for Creatives Division c. Applicants shall be evaluated on the following criteria i. Panel Interview - 60% ii. Compliance to Application Guidelines - 20% iii. Content of Resume - 20% 4. Release of results of panel interview will be on AUGUST 11, 2014 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. Must be bona fide students of their respective faculty, college, school, or institute; 2. Enrolled with a total of at least fifteen (15) units excluding P.E. and NSTP, must have a general average of at least 2.50, and 2.75 for the Faculty of Civil Law and Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. 3. Must be of known probity and integrity, must not have been found guilty of violating the rules on general conduct of the University as certified by the dean, principal, or SWDB Coordinator of their respective college 4. Must not be affiliated with any society, association, or organization, directly or indirectly involved in politics, or affiliated or identified with any political party, fraternity, and sorority in the university. 5. Must not have been a candidate for any elective position in the Central or Local Student Council in immediately preceding elections. 6. Must be willing to relinquish current position after appointment should applicant be an officer of a recognized student organization or section
