Be alert to the opportunity to learn. You have the Holy Spirit living inside of you. Just ask God FIRST to give you guidance. You can talk to GOD personally and he will listen to you PERSONALLY. Here are 15 steps in finding OPPORTUNITY in the MIDST of your crisis from Rev. Charles Stanley. 1. Believe. Romans 8:28 2. Trust that God is in control.. 3. Accept the truth. (God would never give you more than you can handle.) 4. Dont make quick judgements. 5. Focus on God instead of the crisis. 6. Avoid focusing on the pain. 7. Recall past crisis and the opportunities that followed. (Remember God brought you out before! He will do it again.) 8. Deal with anger immediately. (Remember, anger is an emotion and all about your attitude which can be changed by making a choice.) 9. Submit yourself to the will of God. 10. Demonstrate a sense of gratitude. ( Be grateful in all things.) 11. Determine to view the crisis as an opportunity. 12. Refresh to listen to unscriptural interpretations by other people in whats happening to you. (AKA....check your source of the opinions from others!) 13. Remain in constant prayer. 14. Refuse to give way to changing emotions. 15. Obey God and leave the consequences to him. (He got you!)
