Be careful what you ask for : you just might get it. Really should be : when you get what you ask for , be prepared. Respect it. Honor it and be diligent. Three funerals. In three days. ( brand new blessing job ! ). Each funeral was emotional. And personal. Todays. Looking at three siblings I grew up with. Int minds eye I pictured us as children. Usually centered at Sacred Heart on Washington Street, or CYO games or sporting events. Later : clubs of a different kind. Ones you pay hard knock dues to join. Then I looked again and gazed at their grown children - envisioning them as toddlers. Either with their parents , or their grandmother and Lovie. Then : snap Back to reality , and see us all as we are. Mourning a tragic , unnecessary loss. Traveling this sometimes heartbreaking world - paths stumbling over one anothers again. Grateful to see these 3 together in one place - serving the same moment , if only for a short while. After I was done - I turned back one last time : and my minds eye captured that family as children once again ...
