Be still. Get quiet and listen. Let yourself get angry, let yourself get sad. Face the truth; go through the eye of the needle; feel the pain and know that it will slowly fade. The short-term pain of facing a truth FAR outweighs the long-term pain of believing a lie. ...go 100 percent sober of distraction, breathe, hydrate, exercise, eat well. Write your feelings down every morning. Get a therapist. 12 step. Friends. Write your goals down. Imagine your best life and write down what you really want your life to be like. Have a clear vision of the kind of life you want to create and create it as a result. When you have anxiety, sadness or any negative emotion, feel the feelings. Love yourself through the process. Let yourself feel. Its not a bad thing to get angry, sad or cry. It is normal and human. Be brave and feel: no more running.
