God repeats "Be strong and courageous" twice in these 3 verses. The point is to live like God is with you, because He is. There is responsibility though to that favor, and with responsibility comes opportunity. God calls Israel to obedience and diligence in memorizing the law. Remember, the call is not just to know, but to live in obedience. Likewise we must become obedient to God by believing in Jesus Christ, and allow the power of His sacrifice to transform our very way of life.
