Be the First BIRDMAN! Whoever has the most number of bird species photographed on September 5, from 5am to 5pm, in the areas of Batangas, Laguna, and Quezon wins the race and earns the title The First BIRDMAN. The winner will also be awarded with a FREE 3-day and 2-night stay for 2 at Darayonan Lodge in Coron, Palawan including birding tour at Capayas, Mabentangen, Jolo/Dipulao area and Maquinit Hot Springs. Package includes services of in-house guide, Erwins service for all the mentioned areas, entrance fee to Capayas Creek and Maquinit, breakfast, lunch and dinner, airport shuttle and transpo to birding sites. All participants and attendees to The Gathering of the Birdmen, including WBPP officers, are qualified to race. Photos of bird species must be submitted to Prof. Bert Madrigal before 6pm of September 5. The winner will be declared during the MIXEDFLOCK on the night of September 5, 2014 at Bangkong Kahoy Dolores Quezon.
