Bear Hunters: With the scattered showers every day or so for the last week make sure you are checking your baits regularly. Also use baits that wont melt away in the rain like licorice or large chunks of bait to hold scent in the rain. Scents should be oil or grease based so they arent washed away as quickly. Cover your baits with multiple layers of sticks. Angle the logs as well so the rain runs off. Once the weather levels out then hammer the bait sites with scent, overkill it, and bait heavy the first few days of good weather. Then back off a bit to keep the bears coming back in. Its very important to keep the scent out there in rain conditions and plenty of bait available right after storms so the bears dont have to move far. Then you can regulate what they get once you have them coming in. Good luck
