Beaumelle Leaves Chipolopolo Chipolopolo coach Patrice - TopicsExpress

Beaumelle Leaves Chipolopolo Chipolopolo coach Patrice Beaumelle has quit and is tonight scheduled to leave for Ivory Coast to link up with his mentor Herve Renard as deputy for the Elephants. Beaumelle’s contract with Chipolopolo expired on July 31 and only verbal commitment was given to him by FAZ for the extension but no action was taken. FAZ will now have to search for a coach a month before the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers kick-off. Sources close to Beaumelle have confirmed that the Frenchman is set to leave tonight for Ivory Coast where he will join Renard – the man who introduced him to the African terrain in 2008 when he was recruited by Zambia. Bolazambia has established that Beaumelle has not received his salary in six months and has been living at Pamodzi Hotel for almost eight months after his employers failed to secure him a house. The source confirmed that Beaumelle has been reaching out to FAZ to guarantee his future. “All I know is that he has been prodding FAZ to secure his future but no one has been paying attention,” the source said. Beaumelle has been working on an assistants’ contract since Herve Renard left the in October, 2013. Source: bolazambia zambiareports/2014/08/03/beaumelle-leaves-chipolopolo/
