Beautiful “Do the Right Thing” Story. Recently I offered to a past client (back from 2005 who since has moved to a different state) a couple of old photographs of her family I’ve been exhibiting over the years for 90% OFF. She happily agreed to purchase. I mailed 2 framed wall size photos to her and 1 frame got broken during shipping. Despite the fact that I wasn’t really making money-her payment was rather a simple reimbursement for my hard costs, I still felt the right thing to do was to replace the broken frame. So I did. And, here is a sweet email I’ve just gotten from her. “Hi Yelena! I just wanted to let you know the new frame arrived safely today. It looks good so I hope to re-frame and hang the lovely photo of my family tomorrow. You have been so gracious to my family and I thank you for all you have done to make this right. I really appreciate working with you!” Such a simple thing, just a short acknowledgment, but it did touch my heart and made my day. Small, simple nice, kind things go BIG way – BOTH ways – ALL ways – ALWAYS!
