BCE) Jane Hirshfield: A collection of popular Chinese folk songs, the Zi Ye (formerly spelled Tau Yeh) poems were traditionally ascribed to a single woman poet of that name. The yes of this poem, arising out of no nameable place or being, has a mysteriously moving power. All Night I could not sleep because of the moonlight on my bed.
