Beautiful Glimpse of the impact of a SPARK on someone!! Love Leann David, once I discovered One Spark, I swore I would spark people. And I have, but not as amazing as some of the ones Ive seen on here, people are so amazing huh?! Anyways, I never thought I would be one to be touched by someone, or sparked. This morning I was going to the store to use my state checks to get my son his baby food, and formula. Times are tight, were not doing terrible, but we still need help. I hate doing it, I cant seem to get over my pride, and I get really worked up using them. I went to the first store, where they didnt honor my checks, went to another store where they were restocking the baby aisle. They were so rude, and said they didnt know how long it was going to take. Off to the next store. Success, they accept my checks, and the aisle is clear! But, of course,they dont have our formula. Ok, just baby food, formula at the other store this evening. Still have to pay. Only the express aisle is open, and I have over 30 jars of baby food, split between 2 checks. I have terrible anxiety. I dont do well in crowds. I am an army vet, married to a soldier, who is currently in Korea, while I raise our 8 month year old son. I dont know if there is a time of the day that Im not stressed. And so, the emotions start running as Im checking out, and there is now a huge line behind me. I apologize to the man behind me, who was soooo nice, I think thats what made me tear up. Trying to hide that Ive started to cry, because Im embarrassed beyond belief, I rush to my car, and the man is behind me. He tried to hand me a $20 bill. He said he was just a loving Christian, that wanted to see me have a better day, and to be blessed. I kept refusing. I already take handouts, how could I possibly take this mans money too? But I could tell, he wanted to give me a spark. And honestly, not only is this whole concept amazing for the people that get sparked, but I also think it heals the sparker. Makes them feel down to the core. I took the $20. He walked to his company car(Where I plan on sending my thank you card, titled: To the man that made my day, and probably whole week...lol) And wished me a happy and blessed day.
