Beautiful ride today. So glad I have a crazy adventurous friend to drag me around. Driving three hours to ride 6 miles isnt something Id think to do. Miguel was awesome! This was a pretty difficult ride. No room to turn around, very rocky and steep with sharp switch backs and sometimes with a very steep and scary drop off. Not to mention hikers with large noisy backpacks coming down the trail from above us. This is why Mustangs rock. So sure footed. I felt very safe. There was no way this horse was going to find himself tumbling down the side of a cliff. He didnt even trip and it really was not good footing for a horse. Ive never ridden on anything like it. Part of what an adventure to a new place is all about, I guess. This video was taken during one of our brief moments where footing was pretty good. I definitely gained a lot of respect and trust for this little guy today.
