To all of you waiting for tomorrows clearly necessary standoff, given the preemptive threats against protesting: freedom isnt not going to jail, its not letting go of your freedom if you do. I imagine the burning of these flags was (is?) actionable legally. Thats not why it was done, though. And it did not keep anyone from taking part. Just as I hope the threat of arrest wont dissuade you from staring down the powers that (ought not) be tomorrow. Beautiful places seen in this video will cease to exist if this road, a monstrosity of efficient human progress, is built. I wish I was there. Lori and Evie and I are, in spirit.
