Beauty, youth, talents, and muscles. If your pride, joy, and self assurance are wrapped up in these, they will wither like the grass. It should be, "On Christ the solid rock I stand, ALL other ground is sinking sand." We should seek to make Jesus the very center of our life, NOT our job, wife, kids, possessions and positions, which when put before Christ is nothing but gross idolatry and will leave a Christian with a bitter taste in his mouth at the end of his life.
