Because gun control isnt a policy based on rational approaches to real-world situations, its a knee-jerk reactionary response favored by people who cant be bothered to think about the consequences of what they tacitly endorse by voting, continually, for the worst, most idiotic bunches of crooks ever to draw breath. The Second Amendment is about making our leaders accountable to us, it is the last resort to inform the governors that they do not have our consent.
