Because of a wind storm we arrived home from Detroit and New York City to now electricity. So rather than unpack, wash clothes and get organized, I went to my granddaughters birthday party, then home to crash, which worked out just fine. The night before wed gone with my editor and friends to see BEAUTIFUL, the musical about Carol King which was playing on Broadway. The production was beyond fabulous! The music, sets and costumes were incredible. (We were out late and didnt get to bed until after midnight. Since the next morning we had a 4:20 am wake up call, I kind of freaked.) It was so worth it. One of the best plays/musicals Ken and I have ever seen and it wall worked out as we crashed in the early dark. This morning, were caught up on shut eye and now the washer is working overtime. The bad news? Ive been humming off key to all the wonderful songs that Carol King and her friends wrote. (My poor family!)
