Because of major changes to our busing route, Im sure tomorrow will probably not go as smoothly as we wish. As we drive during school hours, lets remember to be extra cautious of pedestrians! We heard from friends parents theyve had a difficult time reaching the Transportation office and weve contacted school leadership about this. I know Ive had trouble understanding the new bus routes. Dr. Borchers asked for patience during the first week while they work out the kinks until they get a better idea for the number of kids who will need transportation. We were told they plan to readjust routes to maximize usage of the buses. I know a few schools have also asked parents not to park and enter school so early in the morning, but to wait until a bit closer to start time to minimize impact in the morning. Im sure the added cars in our small community will also be a hassle to the local residents and hope this situation is temporary for their sake. Heres hoping for smooth start tomorrow and great school year! P.S.: Dear teachers and staff: thanks!
