“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23 Quite often we are tempted to whine and complain about our circumstances. This scripture certainly places things back into proper perspective for us. If it were not for God, His love and His faithfulness we would be consumed. Not just uncomfortable or heartbroken but consumed. Let me encourage you to each morning place your confidence in Him and trust that regardless of what this day may hold He is with you, faithfully guiding and providing. Thank Him for this brand new day and ask Him to give you the strength and wisdom to make changes and not repeat the mistakes you made yesterday. But most of all we need to thank Him for His mercy, He has never failed us, through we have failed Him. So ask Him to forgive you, restore you, and strengthen you.
