Be AWARE of what is going on around you ladies! Walk with confidence, make eye contact with every person you pass (I always give a quick smile and a head nod to them as well just to let them know I see them). Get a pepper spray/mace for your key chain so you can easily access it as you walk to your vehicle. Look around you before you get in your vehicle! And walk in dark or possibly dangerous places in a group!! Keep your doors locked while you are at home, especially if you are alone! When Will is gone I keep a loaded gun at my side even as I just walk through the house (I have been properly trained in how to use my firearm!! A must if you intend on ever using it and obviously for safety reason as well.) I will not have this happen to me because I refuse to let it! I am always aware of what is going on around me and I am prepared for the worst. If you truly want to learn how to physically defend yourself I encourage you to come and join the female fighter practice at the Grindhouse. Doing this sport every day will make your defensive reactions muscle memory so you can react correctly and possibly save your life in a bad situation!
