‘Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear Elohim, which fear before him: But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before Elohim.’ (Ecclesiastes 8:11-13) Be thankful for your afflictions. Consider them chastisement for we all need refinement no matter how much we have already refined our walk towards Yah. Do not be quick to consider misfortunes as just coincidences as Yah only chastises his children. So we being sinners if we are not acknowledging being chastised then we are not acknowledging being his children. Be thankful if you recognize it when it comes because chastisement and affliction teaches the wise to fear Yah which is the beginning of understanding. While the sons of the adversary do not receive chastisement from Yah, are not lead to change and increase their wickedness unto their own end. ‘For whom the Adonay loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, Elohim dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.’ (Hebrews 12:6-8)
