Because this is still happening. Because Im so horrified/angered by it, Ive chosen to write a play in response to it. Because its unacceptable. Because while this town in Georgia jumped on this allegation with the quickness, so many other towns in this same situation have not. Because my niece will be in high school in just a few short years and Im wondering if this will be something I have to tell her to be wary of. Most importantly, because I shouldnt have to post this on social media, and use the qualifier because in the first place. #yesallwomen
