Because you know, in the words of a deceptively young and fluffy wise pop-star, HATERS GONNA HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE. The older I get, parenting aside, the more respect I have for those Famous people who make it a focus to encourage others. Who use their (very limited and precious) time and platforms for Good. Who arent in it just for the almighty dollar, or the cache, or the privilege fame brings. Quite frankly, who give a flip. I have met soooo many famous people, and I have to say... Most dont hold a candle to those my child admires and has had the privilege to meet or interact with. They give it ALL, onstage and off, the EARN it in a way that schools so many (Not All, of course, but So Many) Celebrities from previous eras. I admire my childs taste in People... which is so much more important than admiring her taste in music. (BTW, TS is Obviously putting this same level of effort into her growth as an artist... comparing her from the first time we saw her in concert to the last... no one who has actually seen her last show live could Ever argue the child is not an Artist, whether you care for her art or not. She is a Fantastic Performer.) I have so much respect for this woman. And she does so much more for this world than any of those people trashing her Ever will.
