Becca Lewis update.... strictly from a dads point of view, week 1,,, lol!!! A bunch of you have been asking how Becca was doing at NYCDA. Frankly,,,, thats been our SAME question all week...and THANK YOU for asking!!! We hear from her briefly, via text or a quick phone call usually only once a day at best. This is her 1st time away from home. Combine that along with the pressure that this adventure will most likely be a game changer for her having a future career as a Dancer in the Entertainment industry and I think even I got stressed out!!! Yesterday, we visited her for about 15 minutes during an NYCDA lunch break... Becca is doing absolutely AWESOME! She is dancing with 99 other talented dancers ages 14-19 from across the US and even a couple from Canada.Their schedule is as intense as the dancing... usually 9am - 9pm depending on the day.... hence, why we dont hear from her much! Though it was a tough first couple days for her adjusting to being away, learning the pace and intensity of the choreography, she has turned things around, found her zone and even landed herself a THIRD piece for next Sundays showcase!!!
